Reminder that they launch the balloons around 1:00pm central time, 18:00UTC, every other Saturday. I'm about 40 miles south of the launch site so I don't start decoding the packets till there around 6,000ft above the ground. In the winter time the up level wind carry them to the east a good bit. They will more than likely land somewhere around central Georgia, east Tenn. In the winter time I will loose the signal around 20,000ft +/- on the descent. Summer time they don't tend to stray very fare from the launch site as you can tell from the past flights or the predictions for that days flight. Visit this website to track live.

* As of June 2019 they have recived some funding and are now flying payloads every other Saturday.
